On-Campus Visits

Be surrounded by the buzz of intellectual curiosity and scholarly inquiry by visiting Reed’s campus. Prospective students are welcome to join us for a campus tour and Introduction to Reed, an informative session where an admission counselor will talk about our academic philosophy, the value of a liberal arts education, our approach to grading, typical student life experiences, exploring Portland, and more.

Campus Tour and Introduction to Reed (2 hours)

Campus visits are generally offered on weekdays and select Saturdays throughout the year, excluding holidays and special events.

Tuition Credit for On-Campus Visit

Apply by January 15, visit campus between January 15 and April 15, and attend Reed to receive a $1,000 credit towards your first-year Reed tuition. We think experiencing Reed in person, in real life, firsthand, is just that important.

Reed Admit Day

We welcome our newly admitted students and their guests to join us during this special visit. You will meet college leaders, gain in-depth knowledge about the first-year Reedie experience, explore campus with a current student, and meet peers who will make up the class of ’29.

Seniors Only

Overnight Stay

During your overnight stay, you’ll be hosted by a current Reedie and have the chance to stay in one of our residence halls, eat at Commons, and explore campus. Seniors can add an overnight stay to their campus visit during the registration process. Available starting Feb 10.

Junior Visit Day

High school students and their families can visit Reed and take workshops from our experienced admission counselors on these and other topics. Ask questions and get answers while experiencing Reed’s campus located in beautiful southeast Portland.

Group Visit

Do you have a class, community group, or other large group that would like to visit our campus? We're happy to arrange a special visit for groups of up to 50 people.

Counselor Visit

Are you a high school, independent, or CBO counselor interested in learning more about Reed? We invite you to visit campus to get to know us in person. You can take a tour with a current student, attend an information session, and meet with an admission counselor.
